Please note that due to the coronavirus we are deferring all appointments for further care. The progression of the virus throughout the region will determine when we can re-start seeing routine patients again. We do hope that we can get the service up and running and soon as possible.

Should you feel that your symptoms are causing you serious concerns or that you feel you cannot wait for further contact please do contact your GP as soon as possible or in an emergency situation please attend your local Accident and Emergency Department.

Once we are in a position to resume the service we will be in touch with patients individually.

Visitors may come into hospital during the normal visiting hours of 2.30-4.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm for most wards except ITU, MAU and SAU.

For ITU, visiting hours are: (2 visitors per bed ONLY)

  • 11.00 – 14.30
  • 16.30 – 19.30

For MAU visiting hours are: (Avoid hot meal at 12 noon)

  • 10:30am-5:30pm
  • 7:30pm-9pm

For SAU 10am-8pm (Avoid hot meal at 12noon)

  • The number of visitors is restricted to two visitors per patient per visiting session
  • Children under the age of 11 will not be admitted to adult wards unless special permission has been granted by the Ward Sister in advance
  • Do not visit if you are unwell or have been exposed to any infection. You must be free of any symptoms for at least 48 hours before visiting the hospital
  • Understand that, it may be necessary to ask visitors to temporarily leave the bedside on occasions if the nursing or medical staff so require it
