How do I get an appointment?
With your GP you can discuss your choice of hospital provider. To receive treatment under the care of Somerset Surgical Services simply ask your GP to reference ‘Somerset Surgical Services’ in your referral letter or, if they are making your appointment directly, ask for them to book to a Somerset Surgical Services clinic.
To discuss or make your appointment you can contact the NHS E-referral appointments line on 0345 608 8888. Please ensure that you have your Unique Booking Reference Number (UBRN), which will be referenced on your letter, alternately your practice should be able to provide you with this information.
To book or change your appointment online visit the NHS E-Referral Service website and have your UBRN and password available.
Once your appointment has been requested or booked, Somerset Surgical Services will confirm your appointment in writing advising you of any instructions you may need to follow in preparation of your appointment.
